These positions are assigned classes as needed by the department. Instruction will be in-person.Major Duties and Responsibilities:* Teach in-person, algebra-based, introductory statistics courses, using curriculum provided by the Astronomy, Mathematics, and Physics Department.* Normal duties will be those associated with preparation and teaching lectures, keeping complete and accurate grade records, adequately evaluating student performance, and appropriately using class time.* Affiliate faculty are part-time employees hired to teach on a per credit hour basis for specific classes, as needed, on a semester-by- semester basis. Affiliate Faculty are not eligible for benefit coverage under the University’s benefit program.* All such teaching assignments are dependent on budget and enrollment.
