Join Our Assurance Team as a PCR Manager

RSM is seeking a dynamic PCR Manager to join our Assurance team. You will work as part of a team on diverse client engagements, including local, national, and internationally recognized companies. Our assurance professionals help companies improve performance through challenging business cycles.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality client service, including coordinating review engagements and compilations of financial statements, disclosures, and other deliverables such as taxes.
  • Understand and apply RSM's review and compilation methodology.
  • Manage engagement teams and evaluate staff performance.
  • Lead the team through the engagement process, ensuring quality and accuracy of financial statements and disclosures.
  • Collaborate on engagement planning and execute using a risk-based approach.
  • Identify and assess technical accounting and taxation matters, coordinating with specialists as needed.
  • Recognize industry-specific accounting issues and determine appropriate review approaches.
  • Provide insightful feedback on financial statements.
  • Monitor and review work of Senior Associates and Supervisors, providing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Supervise engagement teams, monitor productivity, and manage budgets.
  • Address client concerns proactively and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Maintain ongoing contact with clients to understand business developments and their impact on engagements.
  • Identify and communicate significant accounting and tax issues to senior management.
  • Support the development of team members through training and career advising.
  • Identify opportunities for performance improvement and business growth.
  • Manage project profitability and ensure ongoing professional development.
  • Stay updated on GAAP and firm standards, sharing relevant industry information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent.
  • CPA designation.
  • At least 5 years of recent experience in public accounting.
  • Experience leading teams and mentoring staff.
  • Knowledge of review and compilation standards and accounting services.
  • Proven ability to build profitable client relationships.
  • Minimum 4 years of team leadership experience overseeing multiple engagements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing review and compilation engagements and related taxation.
  • Track record of managing multiple simultaneous engagements with staff and seniors.
  • Experience working with large non-US companies in North America.

Salary range: $89,800 - $170,500. Selected candidates are eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance.
