Description: Pyxera Global is seeking a mission-aligned leader to join our Board of Directors. We are looking for a strategic, globally minded individual who can help broaden our resources, elevate our visibility, and expand our network of influence. This volunteer board position offers a unique opportunity to shape Pyxera Global’s next phase of growth and innovation while contributing to our mission of solving global challenges through locally led cross-sector partnerships.

Board meetings are held four times yearly: three in person (with a hybrid option) and one fully virtual. In addition to general board responsibilities, the ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of fundraising or donor cultivation, corporate leadership experience, and an ability to activate networks for strategic growth.

Qualifications: Pyxera Global is looking for individuals with a global perspective and a passion for advancing sustainable, inclusive impact. Ideal candidates will have:

Fundraising & Philanthropic Engagement:

• Demonstrated success in fundraising, donor cultivation, or securing corporate sponsorships
• Ability to activate networks for strategic partnerships and resource mobilization

Network & Influence:

• A broad, active network across the private sector and philanthropy
• Comfortable leveraging connections to support board engagement, fundraising, and visibility

Corporate Leadership:

• Current or former senior leadership role within a respected, innovation-driven, or global brand
• Recognized as a changemaker or thought leader within their sector or region

Preferred Expertise (Nice-to-Have): We welcome candidates with additional experience in one or more of the following areas:

• India Diaspora Engagement - Strong personal or professional ties to India or the Indian diaspora
• AI or Emerging Technology – Using tech for social good and inclusive development
• Supply Chain Innovation or Sustainability – Particularly in circular economy or responsible sourcing
• Digital Inclusion – Promoting equitable access to digital tools and infrastructure
• Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) – Leading inclusive programs or organizational change
• Social Innovation & Systems Change – Experience with impact ecosystems or philanthropic innovation
