Position: General Food Production Worker

Location: Colonial Heights, VA
Compensation: 1st Shift: $17.44, 2nd Shift: $18.44

Schedule: Monday – Saturday (Saturdays off based on production needs)
1st Shift: 6:00am – 3:00pm, 2nd Shift: 2:30pm – 11:30am (or until job is complete)

POSITION SUMMARY :

We are seeking reliable and hardworking General Food Production workers to assist in the production of high-quality paninos by performing various tasks in our manufacturing facility, ensuring that all products meet safety and quality standards. This role involves working with a team to efficiently roll and prepare paninos for packaging and distribution.

JOB TASKS / FUNCTIONS

• Efficiently assemble and roll paninos using pre-prepared ingredients such as meats, cheeses, and vegetables, following specific recipes and portion control guidelines.
• Work alongside other production workers to ensure a smooth and continuous production process, meeting production targets and deadlines.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Follow all safety guidelines and operational procedures, including the proper handling of food and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
• Keep workstations and productions areas clean, sanitized, and organized according to company hygiene standards.
• Assist in the final stages of production by preparing paninos for packaging and organizing them for shipment or storage, ensuring proper labeling and product integrity.
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently and within a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent

PHYS IC AL REQUIREMENTS :

Regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers in a repetitive motion. Frequently required to stand, walk and reach above the head. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl and talk or hear. The employee is required to lift a minimum of ten (10) lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment ranges from normal office levels to loud factory / warehouse levels.

WORK ENVIRO N MENT :

• Ability to work in temperature conditions between 35 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit; may occasionally exceed 95 degrees Fahrenheit
